The New Oxford Fire Company's response area is approximately 31.5 square miles. They include:

> New Oxford Borough
> Oxford Township
> Berwick Township
> Straban Township
> Mount Pleasant Township
> Hamilton Township
> Other surrounding areas.

We currently operate:

> 1 engine
> 1 rescue
> 1 truck
> 2 BLS ambulances

Our fleet also consists of a 2005 Ford Service truck, and a 1996 Orion Sled used for special rescues in snow and wooded conditions. Our first ambulance is staffed by 2 paid personnel, but our fire apparatus, and second ambulance is staffed 100% by volunteers. We respond to approximately 365 fire / rescue calls, and approximately 1,300 ambulance calls a year.

New Oxford & Abbottstown Fire Companies' 2^nd Annual Golf Tournament

When: Friday August 29th, 2008 – Rain or Shine
Time: 1:00 PM shotgun start, registration begins at 12 noon
Format: 4-man better ball scramble, 32 teams only
Where: The Bridges Golf Course, 6729 York Road (Rt 30) Abbottstown, PA
Prizes:

(FIRST FLIGHT)	(SECOND FLIGHT)
1st place… $300 per team	1st place… $150 per team
2nd place… $200 per team	2nd place… $100 per team
3rd place… $100 per team	3rd place… $50 per team

We are looking for teams to play, as well as individual and corporate Tee and Hole sponsors. We are currently taking advanced registration of teams. Since we are limited to 32 teams, last year's players will have seniority and a reservation list will be started for new players.
